Movie Coming Soon ...
Movie Review: The film unfolds with a failed kidnap attempt by three masked men in a stolen car. However, they get a second chance and are able to abduct home minister Suvankar Chakraborty's two daughters — Sanchita (Priyanka) and Titir. With the police hot on their trail, the film becomes a relentless cat-and-mouse game — and not much else. However, the kidnappers, led by Rahul (Joy), along with Pritam and Gabu (Debjit and Partho) are criminals with a tender heart and they take good care of the two girls. Rahul even gets shot while trying to fetch medicines for Titir. What surprising is that the kidnappers make no demands for ransom. Then, what is it that they want? As the kidnappers and the abducted girls become pally over time, it is revealed that police action against terrorists had led to the deaths of innocent villagers including Rahul's mother and the trio wanted to give the home minister a taste of his own medicine. Sounds familiar? While the contemporary theme of the film might have worked, the story loses way with its characters running around forests all through. The action sequences are primitive and the music fails to make a mark except for the song "Jiya re jiya". Stretching it even further, Sanchita falls in love with Rahul and refuses to go home until the home minister realizes his fault. Some more running around later, the group is finally apprehended by the police and with promises from the lady love that she will wait for Rahul, the film finally comes to an agonizing end. Ah, finally!
